Bruce Springsteen is Still the Boss

Before seeing Bruce Springsteen live I was not a huge fan and only really knew two or three songs. Going to the concert was not my idea, but I agreed because I felt like I had to see the Boss at least once in my lifetime. I knew he was legend, but didn't understand why. That opinion quickly changed within the first few songs of the concert. Bruce is no spring chicken, neither is the E Street band, but Bruce and his posse brought an unmatched energy that I have only experienced one other time in a performer. He played song after song. There were no breaks or costume changes or political rants, just music. Bruce knows what his fans want and he gave it to them. From electric saxophone solos to robust guitar solos there was nothing left to be desired from the show. Bruce Springsteen may not be on the list of top concerts to see for a typical 23 year old, but I am begging you to see Bruce while he is still touring because he will change your expectations for future shows.
